This section describes how to market and manage your Gear apps and their in-app items, and manage your finances.
Marketing your Watch Face apps involves the following:
- Registering your app and its in-app items, and getting them certified through Samsung Seller Office.
- In Seller Office:
- Managing app distribution, pricing, discounts, coupons, and finances.
- Managing in-app item pricing and finances (such as updating prices, reviewing distribution and purchase reports, and reviewing profit financial records).
- Directing and coordinating item purchasing (including getting latest prices) by the Samsung In-App Purchase server.
- Though many watch faces are standalone, using IAP could provide an opportunity for recurring service revenue; for example, you could offer customers a new watch face every day or for holidays and special occasions.
- Authorizing item purchases via your user Samsung Account.
