AAT Requirements

In order to subject your app to AAT testing:

  • Your app's personnel who initiate AAT testing and review                                              :
    • Must have a Samsung Developer Program account.
      See the To join the Samsung Developer Program and get a SDP account: procedure below.
    • Must submit an AAT ticket for your app.
      See the To submit an Android app for AAT testing: procedure below.
  • Your app must be made available to the AAT program by EITHER:
    • Attaching your app APK file to the AAT ticket and having the file sideloaded.
      OR
    • Specifying in the AAT ticket that your app is to be downloaded from either the Galaxy Apps store or the Google Play store that your app is available in.

 

To join the Samsung Developer Program and get an SDP account:

  • You must have an email account, which may or may not be a Samsung Account user account.
    If you do have an SA account, use your account email address when applying for you developer SDP account and indicate that your SDP account is to be registered with your SA email address.
     
  1. In a Microsoft Internet Explorer browser, navigate to the Join the Samsung Developer Program:
    1. Navigate to the SDP home webpage (https://www.samsungdevelopers.com/).
    2. Near the bottom of the SDP home page, click DEV program 
      In the SDP home page, click Login
    3. In the Developer Program webpage, click Join Program
      In the login window, click CREATE NEW ONE


       
  2. Apply for a general SDP account:
    1. In the Join the Samsung Developer Program webpage:
      1. Enter the following:
 

First Name

Your given name

 

Last Name

Your surname or family name

 

Email (Username)

Your email address

If you use your Samsung Account account email address, check the associated check box.

 

Company

If you represent a company:

  • If your company plans to distribute apps and products via the Samsung Galaxy Apps store, it is recommended to enter the company name to be used when registering apps and products.
  • Otherwise, enter your company name.

If you do NOT represent a company (for example, your are an independent developer):

  • If you plan to distribute apps and products via the Galaxy Apps store, it is recommended to enter the name you will use when registering apps and products.
  • Otherwise, enter your full name.
 

Country

If you entered a company name above, the country your company business unit is registered in.

If you entered your name above, the country you reside in.


 

  1. If you need help with filling in your request, at the bottom of the form, click CONTACT US
  2. Review the posted notifications, SDP Terms and Conditions, and the Samsung Global Privacy Policy.
    1. If you do not agree to them, click Cancel and clear form
    2. If you agree to them, click Submit Application

 

  1. If the …unable to process your request… popup window is displayed, follow either of the 2 links to report the issue and get help.

 

  1. If the Please check your inbox… popup window is displayed:
    1. Your submission was successfully processed.
    2. In the popup window, click Close
    3. In your email application:
      1. Open the email from Samsung Developer Program <SDP@samsungdevelopers.com>
      2. In the email, click Link to confirm your email
        1. In your browser, make sure the confirmation webpage is displayed.
        2. In your email application, open the NEXT email from Samsung Developer Program <SDP@samsungdevelopers.com>
        3. In the next email, use your developer SDP account login username and temporary password and follow the Log in here link, and then follow the SDP webpages to complete SDP account signup and get your regular password.
           
  1. Use your login user name (email address) and regular password to test your apps.
