In this step, you create a prefab object.
For other steps in this exercise, see Exercise 5: Add a Screen Fader Effect.
To create a prefab object:
- From the Project view, open the /Assets/Workshop/Prefabs folder.
- From the Hierarchy view, drag the ScreenFader object into the Prefabs folder. Since a prefab named ScreenFader already exists in the folder, Unity will automatically rename your prefab ScreenFader 1. Creating this prefab will allow you to reuse the ScreenFader object in the Main scene.
- Save the Splash.unity file and return to the Main.unity file.
- From the Project view, open the /Assets/Workshop/Prefabs folder and drag the ScreenFader 1 prefab file into the Hierarchy view.
