Theme Package Binary Files and Data Entry

This section provides details about the package binary files, data entry, country distribution, and pricing of freely or commercially distributed themes.

Theme Package Binary Files

  • Package binary filenames:
    • Must be unique among all package binary files registered to the theme.
    • Must not contain spaces or special characters but can contain underscores.
  • All package binary files registered to a theme must include the same package ID.
  • All package binary files registered must include a signing key.
  • All package binary files registered to a theme must include the same signing key.
  • When updating or re-registering a package binary file, its package ID must be the same as the originally registered theme binary files. 
  • When updating or re-registering a package binary file, the package ID of the previously registered package binary file must be included in the new file.
  • When updating or re-registering a package binary file:
    • If the previously registered package binary file included a signing key, the new package binary file must include the same signing key.
    • If the previously registered package binary file did not include a signing key, the new package binary file must not include a signing key.

Theme Data Entry

  • All package binary files registered to a theme must include its package ID.
  • The package ID of one theme cannot be included in the package binary files of another theme.
  • After a theme is unregistered from Seller Office or has had its distribution terminated in the Theme Store, its package ID can be used again for another theme.
  • The package ID included in each package binary file registered to a theme must be unique among all themes registered to the same Seller Office account.
  • The package ID included in the package binary files of one theme cannot be included in the package binary files of another theme.
