Financial Report

For any month with one or more settled sales of your paid apps or in-app items, you can review for each settled sale: the total purchases, cancelations, resulting revenue, actual deductions, and your actual earnings (in local currency and USD). You can also review the total amount of the month's settled sales that contributes to the transfer amount of your actual earnings. You can also generate a financial report spreadsheet.

In reports, data is grouped by country and sub-grouped by payment method. In detail popups, data is grouped by country and sub-grouped by purchase type (app or in-app item).

Note: Purchase and revenue data is updated daily.

Each monthly report includes sales that have been settled during the reported month, which includes:

  • Purchases made and payment finalized in the reported month.
  • Purchases made in previous months and payment finalized in the reported month.

Reports do not include sales where payment has not yet been finalized for purchases that were made in the reported month or in previous months. The delay in finalizing payment depends on each country and payment method.

The total of all accounting amounts month contributes to the transfer amount of your earnings:

  • Your earnings equal your sales revenue amounts minus applicable fees (including European Union VAT, Samsung commission, and other fees).
  • For sellers in countries other than South Korea, you set a minimum transfer amount (to reduce the impact of the transfer fee). Your remittance for your paid app and in-app item settled sales earnings is the transfer amount that exceeds your minimum transfer amount minus a transfer transaction fee.
  • For South Korean sellers, the minimum transfer amount is zero, your remittance for your paid app and in-app item settled sales is the monthly transfer, and there is no transfer transaction fee.

The report also lists the type of financial business agreement, determined by each country, that governs the relationship between you, Samsung, and third-party sale processing entities.

This month's Total

Total of your earnings from all Accounting Amount (USD) values for the selected month

For South Korean sellers,  Samsung transfers this amount as your remittance.

For other sellers, each month's amount contributes to the transfer amount. It may take one or more monthly amounts to exceed your minimum transfer amount. When that occurs, Samsung transfers the accumulated amount as your remittance.

Business Type

Kind of business arrangement governed by each distribution country that exists among you, Samsung, and supporting third-party entities:

Commissionaire - Samsung buys your apps and in-app items from you. Samsung sells them to customers. Samsung reports and pays the European Union VAT, which is deducted from your income.

In countries with Commissionaire business agreements, the adjusted amounts do not include taxes, which you are responsible for paying. In all other countries, adjusted amounts do include taxes.

Depending on the applied tax rate of a country and the fee levied by a phone carrier, you may generate lower net income from phone bill payments than from credit card payments.

It may take up to six months for some phone carriers to conclude phone bill settlements. Therefore, the sales summaries show preliminary values based on expected fees and average accounts receivable, which may differ from the actual settled amounts.

For each individual purchase (sales) amount, its USD equivalent is based on the exchange rate at the time of purchase. Account Amount (USD) is the total of the individual USD equivalents.
