UIDs for Android Apps

To register, review, and manage UIDs for Android™ Service Apps:
Note: Registered UIDs MUST be specified in the associated Android service app's package file AND specified in the Seller Office UI UID field during service app registration.
  • Seller Office registers UIDs to service apps. 
  • Ensure the service app has completed registration and has been submitted for certification (Samsung Seller Office Service Application Registration Guide).
  • Get the applicable information needed to make appropriate field entries.
  • Enter service app information in the service app default language or in English where specified.


Step 1 (login) must be completed before any other step is started or continued.
Steps 2 through 4 can be started, saved, continued, or completed in ANY order.
After some actions, an information popup that requires clicking a button (such as OK) is displayed.
Info popup steps are NOT indicated in this procedure.

  1. Log in to your Samsung Seller Office account:
    1. In your browser, navigate to the Samsung Seller Office website.
    2. If necessary, log in to your Seller Office account with your Samsung account email ID and password.
      Note: You are automatically logged out after 20 minutes of inactivity.
  2. Click Applications > UID.
  3. Review the issued UID information:
    1. To display the total number of UIDs that have been issued (whether or not they are currently displayed), click Total Count.
    2. To view other pages of issued UIDs, click Page.
    3. For each displayed UID:
    4. Package Name
      (App ID)

      Unique identifier (referred to as the App ID and Content ID) of the service app package.

      Issued UIDs MUST be specified in the associated service app's package file AND specified in the Seller Office UI UID field during service app registration.


      International Mobile Equipment Identity code (15 or 17 digits) of the device associated with the registered UID.


      Date (MMM dd, yyyy local time).
  4.  To register a new UID to an Android service app:
    Note: UIDs can only be registered to service apps that are in the Sale status AND are not currently being updated.
  5. Enter Package Name (App ID): (ID of the service app package file).
  6. Click Register.
  7. To register a device to the UID:
  8. For the listed UID, click Add IMEI.
  9. Enter IMEI (15 or 17 digit International Mobile Equipment Identity code of the device).
  10. Click OK.
