Manage Your Validation Testing and Results

Before you can check app status or manage your apps, you need to log in to your Samsung Seller Office account:

  1. In your browser, navigate to the Samsung Seller Office website.
  2. If necessary, log in to your Seller Office account with your Samsung account email ID and password.



 

Check application status

  1. Click Applications > My Applications:

  2. You can sort applications by status, content ID, or title.
    • If you click the status link, the details page for the application or the page for registration and modification will open.
    • If you click the date under Last Update, you can check your application's status change history.
    • If you click the Excel icon, you can export your information in spreadsheet format.
  3. Review the current status of your app.

Applications for sale

There are four possible descriptions for Sale applications:

For Sale Application is registered normally and being sold.
Suspended Sales have been temporarily suspended by the administrator.
Application sale is suspended because Selling Ends of applications was overdue.
Beta Deployed Beta Test applications have been registered and deployed.It is not displayed in the store for all users to see. Testers can download the Beta Test application using the Beta Testing URL link provided.
Beta Suspended Distribution of the Beta Test application has been suspended or stopped because the termination date of the distribution has passed. Testers cannot download the Beta Test application.

Suspend your application

If you want to suspend sales or Beta testing of you application:

  1. Click the Suspension button to enter a reason for the suspension in the pop-up window to stop sales.

  2. If the application is part of a promotion or discount in the Galaxy App Store or Kids Store, you can suspend the sale of the application. When you suspend sale, the promotion will be automatically terminated.
  3. To suspend the sales of applications that are being validated, first click Cancel to cancel the validation, and then delete the applications from the Registration list. After that, you can suspend the sales of applications on the For Sale list.
  4. If sale has been suspended by the administrator, you can click the message icon to view the reason or edit the application. Also, you can click the Go to Support button to inquire about the suspension.

Terminate your application

To terminate your application:

  1. Click the Termination button, and provide a reason in the pop-up.

  2. Once sales of the application have been ended, it is permanently deleted from the On Sale list, and cannot be restored. The application title and the App ID of the application you have deleted can be reused.

Change the price of your application

  1. You can change the price of an application by clicking the Price Change button.
  2. When the application is of an application by clicking change the price click either an icon or the Price Change button on detailed application information page.
  3. You can instantly change the price using the Price Change popup without an approval process.

Note: If your application is listed as either having or pending Discounts, its price cannot be changed.

Applications being validated

  1. If your app and/or its commercial items fail the pre-certification phase:
    1. Your Seller Office account contact personnel will receive a notification email:

    2. In the Seller Office website:
      1. Review your app status: Registration / Test Confirmation Rejection.
      2. Click the [R icon] to open the Reasons for Approval Reject screen.
      3. To go to the Seller Office Submit webpage, click Re-register Application.
      4. To go to the Galaxy Apps Developer website, click Go to Support.
      5. Download the certification report by clicking the [Attached File Zip filename].
    3. Unzip the certification report ZIP file.
    4. Open and review the App Security Analysis Report HTML file:

  2. Review the report information.
    1. For each issue listed in the Failure Issues section:
      1. Review the issue information.
      2. Open and review any attached text files.
      3. You must alter your app and/or its commercial items and/or its information registered with Seller Office in order to correct the issue defects, or your app and/or its commercial items will not pass certification.
    2. Re-upload ALL binary files, with either a revised version (to correct a failure issue) OR with the same version (when there was no failure issue with that binary file).
    3. Resubmit your app for certification.
      For details, see Submit a Registered App for Certification.
       
  3. If your app and/or its commercial items fail the certification phase:
    1. Your Seller Office account contact personnel will receive a notification email.

    2. In the Seller Office website:
      1. Review your app status Registration / Test Confirmation Rejection.
      2. Click the [R icon] to open the Reasons for Approval Reject screen.

      3. To go to the Seller Office Submit webpage, click Re-register Application
      4. To go to the Galaxy Apps Developer website, click Go to Support
      5. Download the certification report by clicking the [Attached File Zip filename]
         
    3. Unzip the certification report ZIP file.
    4. Open and review the Certification Result Report HTML file.

    5. Review the report information.
    6. For each issue listed in the Issue must be fixed section:
      1. Review the issue information.
      2. Open and review any attachments (such as text, screenshot, and video files).
      3. For issues with shall requirements:
        You must alter your app and/or its commercial items and/or its information registered with Seller Office in order to correct the issue defects or your app and/or its commercial items will not pass certification.
      4. For issues with should requirements, your app and/or its commercial items and/or its information registered with Seller Office will not pass certification unless you EITHER:
        • Alter your app and/or its commercial items in order to correct the issue defects.
          OR
        • Add an appropriate explanation to the Comments to the Certification Team.
           
    7. For each issue listed in the Issue recommended to be fixed section:
      1. Review the issue information.
      2. It is recommended to correct or explain these issues. However, your app and/or its commercial items and/or its information registered with Seller Office WILL pass certification even without doing anything about these issues.
         
    8. Reupload ALL binary files, with either a revised version (to correct a failure issue) OR with the same version (when there was no failure issue with that binary file).
    9. Resubmit your app for certification.
      For details, see Submit a Registered App for Certification.
       
  4. After your app and its commercial items have been certified:
    1. Your Seller Office account contact personnel will receive a notification email.

    2. Your certified app and its commercial items will be available for user download from the Samsung Galaxy Apps Store either within 1 day or on the day you specified after that to start distribution.
