How Seller Office user interface features help you register your apps and in-app items

Page Menu

The page menu on the left side provides access to registration pages and indicates your registration progress.



The page is currently selected (blue background). 

Some required fields do not have entries or have entries that do not meet minimum requirements (gray checkmark icon).


The page is not currently selected (white background). 

All required fields have entries that meet minimum requirements.

Note: Entries are not checked for suitability or for passing validation testing. Required data entries are checked for meeting minimum requirements (such as data that is less than maximum amounts). Optional field entries are not checked and progress is not indicated.


Field and Field Information Controls

You can control the display of fields and the display of information about the fields.



Advanced    Displays all fields in the page (recommended).

Simple         Displays only required fields in the page.

ShowTip_On.png Display or hide Tip info for all fields in the page.



Some fields have additional Tip info.

Toggle-click the info icon to display or hide the info for the field.


Some fields and buttons have additional info.

Mouse-over the red info icon to display the info popup.



Expand or collapse groups of fields.


Data Entry

  • You can enter some or all entries in a page in any order, click Save (at the top and bottom of a page), and continue data entry later.
  • Required fields have an asterisk (*) after their title.
  • Grayed-out fields, title text, and icons cannot be changed (for example, due to a related setting).
  • Click Add or + to display additional fields to register more items.
  • Date entries can be entered directly or they can be selected by clicking the SO_RG_CommonUIFeatures_07.png Calendar icon.
  • After text data entry that meets minimum requirements, a SO_RG_CommonUIFeatures_08.png green checkmark is displayed.
  • After data entry that does not meet minimum requirements (such as minimum/maximum bytes and uniqueness among other entries), [red information] is displayed below the field.

Note: Entries are not checked for suitability or for passing certification. Data entries are checked for meeting minimum requirements, such as data that is less than maximum amounts.

  • To register a file, click Upload, navigate to the local file, and click Open.
  • Image files can be registered in two ways:
    • Drag and drop the image file into the gray [Icon area] for the field.
    • Click Upload, navigate to the local file, and click Open.
